I often I look at drawings from my catalog and am taken back to the time I made it. It becomes like a loop of reinfluencing yourself. It is funny how I was writing in my journal “I am trying to return to an art form of my true interest, something that comes naturally.” I know it’s a bit cringe, but I was reminding myself to stay grounded which I find is necessary over a long art practice. With the vastness of content out there it is easy to get overwhelmed and confused. Looking back is a way to remind your mind who you are and where you came from saved in that time and space; a save point.
